We're sorry, but we do not provide installation support. MUTE is a self-service tool. If you need assistance with installation, please consult your web developer or agency.
I'm getting an error after installation. Can you fix it?
We're sorry, but we cannot provide support for installation errors or troubleshooting. Installation, verification, and testing are your responsibility. Please consult your web developer.
Is there any warranty for issues after installation?
We do not provide any warranty or support for post-installation issues. We are not responsible for errors, display issues, or damage to your website caused by installation. We strongly recommend verifying that MUTE works correctly during your 14-day trial before subscribing.
What should I check during the trial period?
Before subscribing, we strongly recommend verifying the following during your trial:
· Your contact form still works normally for real visitors
· You are receiving real inquiries in your inbox
· Monthly report emails are being delivered
· Block counts appear in the dashboard
If you cannot confirm these during the trial, we recommend against subscribing.

Is the free trial available more than once?
The free trial is available once per user. To continue using MUTE after the trial, you must subscribe to the paid plan.
Setup & Installation
How do I add the code to my site?
Add a single line of JavaScript just before the
</body> tag on the page with your contact form. The exact code is available in your dashboard after logging in.Does it work with WordPress or other CMS platforms?
Yes, MUTE works with any website that supports JavaScript, including WordPress, Movable Type, EC-CUBE, and STUDIO.

- Forms embedded in iframes (e.g. Wix, Squarespace built-in forms)
- Forms generated after page navigation in SPA frameworks (React, Vue, Next.js, etc.)
- Forms dynamically replaced by A/B testing tools
- Sites with strict Content Security Policy (CSP) settings — additional configuration may be required
I have multiple contact forms. Is that okay?
Yes. One account covers all forms on the same domain. Add the same code to each form page — no extra settings needed.
However, subdomains (e.g. shop.example.com) are treated as separate domains. If you need to use MUTE on a subdomain, please register a separate account for it.

Can I check whether MUTE is working after installation?
Yes. Once a month, a summary of blocked submissions and other data is sent to you by email. You can also check the number of blocked submissions for the past 30 days in your dashboard.
How It Works
How does MUTE block spam?
MUTE uses a proprietary detection method to identify automated bot submissions. The details of how it works are not disclosed. Real inquiries from humans are not affected.

Real inquiries from humans are not affected. Only automated bot submissions are blocked.
Is 100% blocking guaranteed?
MUTE blocks automated bot submissions with high accuracy. However, spam sent manually by humans is outside the scope of blocking. We do not guarantee 100% detection of all bots.
Is the sender notified when blocked?
The bot sees a "submission complete" message and does not know it was blocked. This causes it to keep retrying — all without success. No actual message is delivered.

Is the trial really free?
Yes. The 14-day trial requires only your email address. No credit card needed.
Will I be charged automatically after the trial?
No. There is no automatic charge. When the trial ends, blocking stops automatically. To continue, you must subscribe yourself. You will never be billed without action on your part.
How much does it cost?
$3.33/month, billed annually at $39.96/year (tax included). No setup fee or additional charges.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit card payment via Stripe, billed annually. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major cards are accepted.
Account & Login
There's no password. How do I log in?
MUTE uses passwordless authentication. Enter your registered email on the login page and a login link will be sent to you. Click the link to access your dashboard. The link expires in 10 minutes.

Please check your spam/junk folder. If it's not there, you may have entered a different email address than the one you registered with. Please double-check and try again.
How do I cancel?
Log in to your dashboard and click "Cancel MUTE" at the bottom of the page. Blocking stops immediately upon cancellation.
Can I change my registered domain?
Domain changes are not currently supported from the dashboard. If you need to change your domain, please cancel your current account and register again with the new domain.
